Sanjay Khanduri, WG’06, is a managing director, portfolio manager, and founding partner of Hong Kong-based Silver Spring Capital, with a focus on cross border investments between China and India in Power and Infrastructure. Before founding Silver Spring, he was a derivatives trader, trading options, exotics and structures for Standard Chartered Bank in Asia, and has worked with Citigroup in Europe and Asia.
He has also seeded and venture-funded companies in biotech and internet technology, with focus on genome based oncology research and companies in online-bill aggregation and payment space.
He has an MBA from The Wharton School, a post graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, and a bachelor’s of technology degree in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. He also conducts guest lectures in quantitative finance and valuation at the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.
