Shuo Hua, C’11 is a PhD candidate at the University of Hong Kong researching on modern and contemporary Chinese art.
Her research interest is the impact of increasing commodification of art, changing artist-patron relationship and private institutions of visual arts in Hong Kong and Mainland’s art scene.
Native from Nanjing China, Mrs. Hua obtained a BA degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011, and has worked in the Investment Banking Division at Credit Suisse Hong Kong for four years prior to academia.
